What We Offer link     Why CFN link

We are pleased to present CFN’s 2007 highlights. But first, we want to take the opportunity to thank all of our clients for your partnership and for sharing in our commitment to support employees and workplaces every day. It is your investment in your workforce and our program that allows us to problem solve and innovate-- all in the service of improving employee well-being and workplace productivity. For that we are grateful and look forward to getting better and better all the time.

Throughout 2007, we service thousands of employees and family members who accessed us through our More to Life program or through their employer’s privately labeled program. We provided individual employee assistance and Work Life services as well as organizational services such as crisis response, management consultation, topical seminars, visibility events and more.

Beyond maintaining the quality of our high touch services and striving to improve and innovate, CFN has also invested considerable thought, time, energy and financial resources toward activities that are consistent with our values. As such, we want to share with you a few examples of our commitment toward social responsibility and industry leadership:

  • CFN‘s “Green Team”- CFN’s staff launched a grassroots initiative to improve our impact on the environment both at work and beyond. The team has affected significant changes in our workplace behaviors including: paper reduction, expanded recycling, electricity conservation, and use of green materials and products. We are measuring our improvements and all of us are enthusiastic about the small changes we can make (as well as the CFN Green Team incentives we are eligible to win).
  • NAMI (National Alliance for the Mentally Ill) - CFN was a Bronze sponsor of the 2007 NAMI Walk and was well-represented at the walk by a team of CFN employees.
  • Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation- CFN sponsored our 401K administrator who has a child with the disease and is active in the cause.
  • Avon Walk for the Cure- CFN supported this Breast Cancer Awareness event.
  • Participation in Industry Events
    • WBENC Supplier Diversity Breakfast- CFN was pleased to be invited by MetLife’s Office of Supplier Diversity to attend this event as their guest representing a Women’s Business Enterprise service provider to MetLife.
    • Working Mothers Conference- CFN participated at this influential annual event.

Gratefully, our efforts and achievements have been recognized beyond our workplace and client community. In 2007, we have been honored with the following awards and recognitions:

  • Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year- For the second consecutive year CFN has been nominated for E&Y’s prestigious regional entrepreneur of the year award. In 2007 we surpassed our previous place as Semi-Finalist reaching the Finalist round.
  • Enterprising Women of the Year- CFN’s Founder and CEO, Linda John was selected as a finalist by Enterprising Women magazine in their tribute to North America’s top women entrepreneurs.
  • Focus on America- CFN will be featured on an upcoming episode of this cable television program presenting the latest news, research, and expert advice on innovative products designed to increase business productivity, save time and labor at home, and improve the all-around quality of life for viewers. “Focus on America” has identified Corporate Family Network—and our More to Life program—as a leader in providing such work life balance solutions for individuals and companies nationwide.
  • Inc. 5000- CFN has been identified by Inc.com as one of the fastest growing companies in America

As you can see, 2007 has been year of achievement and hard work. But we are already deeply immersed in fulfilling our goals for 2008. One major area of focus for us is our new practice area, Make it Work, an integral platform of services including coaching, training and organizational consultation all designed to harness and optimize the talent of your workplace. Our approach is one of collaboration and enhancement with your internal organization development resources and can seamlessly complement a More to Life program. Please read on our site the letter from Linda John, our CEO, introducing Make it Work and its new practice leader Trish Kyle.

Whether you are already a CFN client or would like to learn more about us, we welcome your comments, questions and inquiries.
